Radical Registrars brings civic engagement straight to the people — with energy, purpose, and a deep commitment to making voting feel accessible instead of intimidating. This grassroots, Black woman-led nonprofit was created in 2020 and focuses on empowering, educating, and mobilizing voters across Central Texas, especially young people, BIPOC communities, and LGBTQ+ residents. Their work goes beyond simply registering people to vote; they help residents understand deadlines, elections, candidates, voting rights, and why local participation matters. By showing up in community spaces and making voter education feel clear, relevant, and people-centered, Radical Registrars helps turn awareness into action and gives more San Antonians the tools to use their voice with confidence.
